Many miracles and manifestation of the power of God was experienced and the members saw reason to invite others.
The prayer meeting metamorphosed into the church as the Lord instructed the prophetess.
The name ‘The New Salvation Church of Christ’ was given in the year 1983 as Prophetess A.M. Akerele was part of a programme on the Koseunti prayer ground. At first, a hall at Odi Olowo street, in Akure was rented to hold services, in a few years by the help of God, the church acquired a land to build the first auditorium.
The church presently has her Headquarters at Obanla, a mountain after the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board office, and before the School of Health Technology, along Oda road Akure (see map HERE). The church presently has her church branches across Nigeria and envisions working earnestly to win more for Christ.
